Manufacturers, distribution, warehousing and agricultural companies use either new and/or used pallets.  Premier can provide either as well as remanufactured, or combo, pallets.  Our recycled 48 x 40 pallets are the most common type and those pallets, oftentimes called GMA pallets, are sold based on their condition after repair.  Our used GMA pallet grades include, premium A, standard A, B+ and B grade pallets.  A more thorough delineation of our used pallets can be found here on our Recycled Wood Pallets page.

Many of our customers in Florida use new pallets built from southern yellow pine, the most common softwood lumber utilized for new pallets.  In addition to pine, we also provide new hardwood pallets made from mixed species of eastern US hardwoods such as maple, hickory, oak and ash to name a few.  Our pallet manufacturing plants in Florida and Georgia can produce both pine and hardwood pallets and even build pallets with an aggregate of the two such as hardwood stringers and pine deck boards.

An alternative to new pallets is a remanufactured or combo pallet.  These pallets are built with reclaimed lumber and in some cases a blend of reclaimed (used) and new lumber.  Depending on the size pallet needed, these pallets can be a more cost-effective choice when comparing new and combo pricing.

Premier also offers heat treatment for all three pallet types, new, recycled and remanufactured so that the pallets comply with the requirements for wood packaging export.  Our heat treated pallets have a unique HT stamp signifying compliance with the ISPM-15 mandate.
